April

A Fresh Start

After a brutal winter, who couldn’t use a vacation? I always look forward to spring break. Whether that means taking a trip to a faraway destination or simply taking a personal day, I find a change of pace refreshing.

Last month, I had the pleasure of attending a family member’s wedding in beautiful Central America. The whole experience was breathtaking, to say the least. The stay was just what I needed to refocus and organize my efforts at work and at home. Of course, I can’t wait to share my journey with you via The Sweet Seed. So this month, I plan to post stories inspired by my recent trip. Expect a few travel tales, recipes, outfits, and tons of photographs to fuel your wanderlust.

No holiday on the horizon? No problem! With the right mindset and reading material, it’s easy to escape a hectic schedule and enjoy a few small, quiet moments at the end of the day. Besides, spring–with its sweet weather, gentle breezes, and flowers in bloom–never fails to rejuvenate the soul. Here’s to April and a fresh start this season!

XO,

Valerie
