I’ve always had a special kind of weakness for lingerie. Yes, a fantastic dress or an elegant suit can communicate confidence to the world and in turn, make a woman feel beautiful–or better yet, powerful. But, lingerie is something more. It’s an intimate affair–a way to feel wonderful from the inside out.
Because I’m currently in the business of boudoir, I consider myself somewhat of an online-shopping aficionado when it comes to lingerie. Searching for something sexy? Something sweet? Something in the right size? You’re in luck. I’m delighted to share my favorite places to shop lingerie online. Here are my top boutiques and brands of the moment:
Best Places to Shop Lingerie Online
Bare Necessities. Have you ever gone to a department store in search of a bra only to find that they don’t carry anything even close to your size? Woman to woman, Bare Necessities is my secret weapon when it comes to navigating the world of intimate apparel. With a wealth of brands, styles, shapes, and sizes (band sizes from 32-56 and cup sizes from A to M to be exact), this boutique offers everything from supportive basics to special-occasion-only wear. Lingerie-lovers rejoice!
ASOS. ASOS is a hub for online fast-fashion. Inspired by the runway and all that is au courant, ASOS Collection style finds are always on trend and (usually) on budget. You’ve probably perused their sleek selection of jumpsuits, cute co-ords, and darling dresses, but did you know they carry a pretty substantial lingerie line? Whether your bedroom style is casual or super-chic, you can shop slips, teddies, and frilly matching sets all in one spot.
Journelle. This brand believes that wearing beautiful lingerie should be an everyday luxury. I couldn’t agree more. Shop their retail store locations or the expansive online boutique for beloved labels like La Perla, L’Agent, and their very own delicate, yet totally draw-dropping Journelle Collection.
Nasty Gal. Nasty Gal delivers cutting edge styles and sought-after vintage pieces. So it’s no surprise that their lingerie collection is equally as fun. Shop Nasty Gal for unique pieces, hip labels, and intimates with a bit of attitude.
Anthropologie. My version of paradise looks a little like the inside of an Anthropologie store. Charming, wonderfully eclectic, elegant, feminine–Anthro’s style picks are quite irresistible. Look to their lingerie collection for lace, pastel hues, silky details, and seriously romantic staples.
Lonely Label. This brand is a breath of fresh air. Their pieces boast a beautiful blend of modern design and vintage details. Side note: check out their ad campaign–it’s authentic and inspiring.
Fortnight Lingerie. Another brand to fall in love with, Fortnight features uniquely crafted designs that are functional, feminine, and stylishly strong. Check out their collections for curve-hugging, flattering pieces.
L’Agent. Agent Provocateur is an iconic lingerie brand, but did you know they have another label co-designed by Penélope and Mónica Cruz along with Agent Provocateur’s Creative Director Sarah Shotton? That’s L’Agent, a totally sexy (and more affordable!) version of the original line.
True&Co. To help you find your perfect lingerie match, True&Co. first provides a fit and style quiz. Post quiz, discover a wide range of modern designs based on your personal aesthetic!
